100% Handmade in Provence
Made in France: entirely handcrafted in Provence. All my products—candles, wax melts, and some wooden decorations—are handmade by myself. Some wax burners are also hand-painted with a ceramic-safe paint.
Wax and Wicks Used in Our Candle Making
All my candles are made exclusively with 100% vegetable wax—GMO-free, pesticide-free soy wax. The soy wax I use is environmentally friendly, renewable, biodegradable, GMO-free, pesticide-free, and not tested on animals. This wax provides a burn time about 37% longer than harmful paraffin candles. The candle wicks are either cotton or wood.
Fragrances Used in Our Candles
FRAGRANCES FROM GRASSE: The scents used in my scented candles are produced in France, in Provence, by perfumers in Grasse, the world’s perfume capital. They are specially formulated for candles and comply with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) standards. We carefully select fragrances that are free from CMR substances* and phthalates.
LAVANDIN RANGE WITH ESSENTIAL OIL: We also offer Lavandin candles made with essential oils sourced from a producer on the Valensole Plateau in Provence.
Cruelty-Free Candles and Other Products
All my scented candles are created with respect for nature and animals. None of our ingredients—or finished products—are tested on animals. We do not use palm wax, which contributes to deforestation (such as in Indonesia or the Amazon), nor paraffin, a highly polluting petroleum derivative.
Certified “Made in Provence” Products
We can provide a certificate of authenticity stating that our scented candles are handmade in Provence, in the south of France, using authentic Grasse fragrances and Provence essential oils for our Lavandin candles.
*CMR: Acronym for substances that are Carcinogenic, Mutagenic (causing permanent changes to genetic material), or Reprotoxic (impacting reproductive health—for example causing malformations or impairing sperm quality).
